When using Cydia Impactor, you may have encountered an error, provision.cpp:81 that is often followed by the message iOS/submitDevelopmentCSR = 7460. You already have a current iOS Development certificate or pending certificate request.

Another variation of error comes with the message iOS/addAppId=9313. The Network Extensions feature is only available to users enrolled in the Apple Developer Program.

  1. Revoke Cydia Impactor certificates

To revoke Cydia Impactor certificates:

  • Launch Cydia Impactor
  • Click Xcode
  • Select Revoke Certificates
  • Enter your Apple ID and click OK
  • Enter your password and click OK

You can now retry sideloading apps on your iOS device.

  1. Turn off 2-factor authentication

While two-factor authentication is an important step for the security of your Apple account, it can also hinder apps such as Cydia Impactor from functioning normally. To correct the situation from your iPhone or iPad:

  • Open Settings
  • Tap your Apple ID
  • Select Password & Security
  • Tap Turn Off Two Factor Authentication
  • Tap Continue

To turn off 2-factor authentication from your Mac or PC:

  • Visit appleid.apple.com on your browser
  • Sign in to your account using your computer and browser
  • Go to Security then click Edit
  • Find Two Factor Authentication and turn it Off then click to verify
  • Create security questions
  • Open your email and click the confirmation link sent by Apple

You can now relaunch Cydia impactor and try sideloading apps.

  1. Use a different Apple ID

If you’ve tried the methods above and neither works for you, try using another Apple ID. You will only need another e-mail account to create the ID.
